Sudan is a common French, located in the department of the Loire-Atlantique and the area Pays of the Loire.

The inhabitants of the commune are called the Soudanais and Soudanaises .

History

  • With the 12esiècle, a community of nuns, members of the monastery of the " Nest-d'Oiseau" depending on the Abbey of Fontevrault, settles in the East of the borough of Sudan, with the place known as " Dougilard".
