Sucker

The Surgeon is a French Rivière which takes its source with Bouvigny-Boyeffles (Pas-de-Calais), passes to Aix-Noulette, Bully-the-Mines, Mazingarbe, Vermelles, then is thrown in the Canal of Surface to Cambrin. The Sucker is entirely tube between Aix-Noulette and Mazingarbe.

The Sucker belongs to the Schéma of installation and management of water (WISE) of the Lys.

A hydrometric station on the Sucker existed with Cambrin. This station was managed by the centralizing hydrological service (SHC) Artois-Picardy (see DIREN Nord-Pas-de-Calais).
