Such father, such clown

Such father, such clown is the 7th episode of the 3rd season of the animated televised series Simpson.

Synopsis

Having an overloaded timetable, Krusty cancels a dinner envisaged with Bart. This last, very pained, decides désinscrire fan-club of the clown and to send a letter of protest to him. Very touched by the letter, the secretary of Krusty manages to convince this one to go to dine at Simpson. At the time of the blessing of before-meal, Krusty starts to speaking in Hebrew. Simpson discover whereas it is Jewish. Krusty explains why he is the son of Hyman Krustovsky, a rabbi. He tells that his/her father cut the bridges with him because of his trade of clown. Bart and LISA decide to meet Hyman so that he forgives with his son, but he puts them at the door. They then decide to seek in the old Hebrew texts a quotation preaching forgiveness. They end up convincing Hyman to join again with his/her son. The meeting again take place in the emission of Krusty.

Note: the episode as a whole is a parody of the film the Singer of Jazz, first talking film, where the son of a rabbi dreams to become singer. This episode also marks the first appearance of Mr.Tiny the monkey of Krusty.
