Such-Yossef
Such-Yossef ( תליוסף ) is a Kibboutz installed in the Vallée of Jezreel, on the road connecting Afoula to Beït-Shéan, on the level of the kibbutz Eïn-Harod. It depends on the movement kibboutznik TAKAM.
It is founded in 1921 by immigrants resulting from the third vagueness of Aliyah and pertaining to the Gdoud Haavoda. The name of Such-Yossef points out the memory of Joseph Trumpeldor.
At the time of the riots of 1936, Such-Yossef is used as a basis for the program of Tour and Muraille and the Palmach uses it like one of its logistic centers.
Such-Yossef account 550 members, whose economy rests on the incomes of agriculture and a printing works.
