Subway of Uijeongbu

The subway of Uijeongbu , Korean city in the north of Seoul, will be a system of Métro whose first line will be of type light automatic Véhicule (VALLEY). Its startup, the 12th line of VALLEY in the world, is scheduled for April 2011.

First the ten kilometers line long and will be built entirely on viaduct. It will cross the agglomeration of Jangam District (Is) to Buyong Elementary School (Western), will comprise 14 stations served by fifteen oars of two cars of the type VALLEY 208 equipped with the Climatisation. The awaited frequentation is of 5.000 people per hour and not direction of circulation.

The first line of the subway of Uijeongbu will be inter-connected with line 1 of the Métro of Seoul, capital of the South Korea, on the level of the Hoeiryong station.
