Sublime
Sublimates (Latin: sublimis , “which is rising” or “which is held in the air”) indicates in the daily language an imposing and impressive thing (astounding), which can nevertheless be perceived or included/understood only with one very fine sensitivity.
Like Esthetic concept , the sublimates indicates a quality of extreme amplitude or force, which transcends the Beau. The sublime one is related to the feeling of inaccessibility (towards the incommensurable one). Like such, it sublime starts an astonishment, inspired by fear or the respect.
Presentation
Edmund Burke, then Kant estimates that the beauty is not the single esthetic value. One can bind their reflection to the rise of the Préromantisme starting from medium 18th century. In front of an unchained storm or a symphony of Beethoven, it is the feeling of sublime, more than of beautiful, which would dominate. Born from the will to express the inexpressible one, taste of sublime the détrône that of beautiful.
