Suberites domuncula

The Suberites domuncula is a sponge which proves to be very toxic for the majority of the Spongivore S because it contains Subéritine, a Neurotoxine which causes Hémorragie S homolitic at many species the vertebrate ones.

Description

It measures until 20cm and is of color yellow-orange. It is established on shells inhabited by Bernard the hermit, whom it dissolves little by little.

Predator

They nevertheless are consumed by the overlapping tortoises and the Dendrodoris limbata .
