Styrofoam is the name of a registered trademark of panels of extruded Polystyrène, manufactured by the company Dow Chemical, used like Heat insulator. They are generally of color Bleu E.
The term - but improperly - is usually used with the Quebec to indicate any expanded or extruded polystyrene shape.
