StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon is a extension of Mozilla Firefox, also available for Internet Explorer, allowing of surfer on Internet (often in English) on Web sites added by other users of only one click. The StumbleUpon service is thus a service Web 2.0.

But this time Ci, the extension is not obligatory: the users of StumbleVideo can even note the vidéos on the site.

In July 2007, StumbleUpon said to have 1.000.000 of users. According to the banner page of StumbleUpon, the service counts more than 3.55 million users since October 3rd, 2007.

Malwares

Nobody has for the moment discovered of Malicious software (Spyware S, Adware S, etc) in this simple extension. According to the authors, the subscriptions gold make it possible to do without this kind of practice which they do not appreciate.
