Stuka
Definition
The German abbreviation StuKa is the abbreviation of " SturzKampfflugzeug" , that is to say in French " bomber in piqué". It indicates the whole of the German apparatuses having been used at ends of dive bombing, that it is within the StuKaGeschwadern (Squadron of Dive bombing) that within other units of the Luftwaffe.
In France, this abbreviation was made famous starting from the countryside of France of 1940 because of terror particularly traumatisante which the bomber in most widespread piqué of Luftwaffe of 1940 inflicted, the Junkers Ju 87, so much so that the " term; StuKa" is often used wrongly to indicate this apparatus alone.
