Studies without borders

Études Without Borders is a French association of which the goal is to help the students of country in crisis to continue their studies under good conditions. Since its foundation with Paris in March 2003, it is active mainly near the students of Chetchnia (and also a mission near young people Rwandais carries out): it made come to France three groups from students from the university from Grozny, which it financially supports and in their studies. It is composed mainly of students and young professionals, eager to implement actions of effective solidarity with a youth having seriously suffered from the first and the Second war of Chetchnia.

Since 2005, Études Without Borders extended by creation from other comparable associations in France (Lille) and Europe (Belgium, Italy, Germany).

Association quickly profited from a good press coverage, bound in particular to the support which brought to him of the personalities such as André Glucksmann or Jack Lang. This mediatization increased with the autumn 2006 with the publication of the book Danser on the ruins of Milana Terloeva (one of the coeds helped by association), testimony where she tells her youth as Chetchnia, and who was largely greeted by the critics.
