Studied international festival with Trondheim

ISFiT (of Norwegian I nternasjonale S tudent' f' estivalen I T rondheim ) is a festival studying which is held with Trondheim, in Norway, every two years. The idea of festival studying an international with Trondheim was born in 1988. Trondheim is a city with the strong traditions coeds and associative. Bringing together students of the whole world, certain student of Trondheim sought to reinforce and make live these traditions, by creating an event which gathers at the same time conference and festival. 400 students originating in 45 countries took part in the first festival in 1990. ISFiT since grew to become the greatest festival students with topic in the world with more than 105 countries represented in 2001. Each festival attracts lecturers of international repute - among them, the activist studied Chai Ling, the Dalaï LAMA, the Managing director of WHO Gro Harlem Brundtland, the Dr. Klaus Töpfer of the the United Nations or the Nobel Prize of peace Wangari Maathai. Each festival makes it possible young people of all countries to meet. The goal of ISFiT is to be a place of going beyond of the cultural, political and religious borders, and to promote the tolerance and mutual comprehension.
