Stubble-plow

A stubble-plow is a Charrue designed to carry out a work of the surface ground. They are generally stubble-plows with discs which have the characteristics to have all their discs assembled on the same axis. this provision is made possible owing to the fact that the angle of entrure (angle formed by the disc plane and the vertical plan) is null.

The stubble-plows can be trailed, carried or semiportées. The first are heavier and allow a better penetration of the ground in any circumstances. The models carried, lighter, are also more handy and more economic.

There exist also stubble-plows with plowshares, however less widespread.

The work of Déchaumage can be also carried out using other apparatuses such as the farmers with teeth.
