Strophanthus gratus
Strophanthus gratus , glabrous Strophanthus of Gabon, is a plant of the kind Strophanthus , of the family of the Apocynaceae .
Its seed S (which resembles very extremely those of the rose laurel Nerium oleander ) its rich person in Hétéroside S Cardiotonique S among which the Strophantine which owes him its name. Strophanthin was for a long time used as drug but is now withdrawn from the market in Belgium, France and Suisse.
