Strong Saint-Louis (Martinique)
Fort Saint-Louis is a fort built in Martinique to protect the island from the colonial powers enemies of France such as English or Dutch
At the beginning it was only one simple fort of wood and it is the governor Jean-Charles of Baath, which reinforced it in 1672
The fort changed plusior time of name: it was called initially Fort royal then strong Edward (under periods of English occupation) and Strong the Republic.
The site is currently classified historic building since 1973 and shelters the state naval major of the force in the Antilles
