Strong Ross
The Fort Ross was strong Russian in California established in 1812 by the company Russian of America and sold with John Sutter in 1841. it was the point more in the south of what one called the Russian America. This single site in what is today the Comté of Sonoma was recently the object of intense archaeological research, and it is now a National Historic Landmark.
The only original structure remaining on the site is Rotchev House, the residence of the person in charge. The vault was damaged by the Earthquake of 1906 in San Francisco but most of the wooded structure remained, the vault could thus be rebuilt in 1916. It was nevertheless burnt in October 1970. The current vault was rebuilt with its image.
