The striptease (or stripping ) is the erotic shape of spectacle particularly appreciated in the nightclubs which consists in for a person getting rid more and more of clothing to finish very undressed, even naked.

History

Historically, one meets some in the pagan Antiquité and even in the Bible with the dance of the seven veils. On the other hand, it is however a hoax, reproduced in People' S Almanac , to believe that its modern origin would come, around 1890 of the gestures of a woman vainly trying to get rid of a chip. An origin sometimes advanced for the modern striptease is the service made during the Bal of Quat' z' Arts by a model named Mona, in 1893, with the Moulin-Rouge.
