The striped grass snake or snake-jumper , (Latin name: Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis ), is a grass snake of the North America and Quebec.

It is the most widespread grass snake with the Quebec because it is able to adapt to climates which are more hostile with the other species.

It is of brown dark with three yellow or red lines; one on the back and the two others on the sides. Its average length is of approximately 60 cm.

Its food is composed of animals with cold blood and Insecte S.

The striped grass snake has ducted scales and a not-divided anal plate. This species is ovoviviparous and gives rise to around fifty the small ones.
