Streets off Rage 3

Streets off Rage 3 (or Bare Knuckle III with the Japan) is a Beat them all developed by Sega, left on Megadrive in 1994.

History

Mr. X and his trade union of the crime are of return with a new plan machiavelic: to replace official city by robots which they could control. Briefing of these dark intentions by his friend Dr. Zan, Blaze Fielding alerts his former partner Axel Stone to propose to him to inquire into this business, as into the recent wave of bomb attacks which swept the city. Accompanied by the young person Sammy " Skate" Hunter, Blaze, Axel and Dr. Zan leave to the continuation their enemy always.

Gameplay

This third episode takes again the same system of play as Streets off Rage 2 , and adds new possibilities of attack to it. The characters can from now on run and slip laterally. They have also a second gauge which once filled makes it possible to use a special blow without losing life. Moreover, three new special blows by characters called blitz attacks are available. They must be freed in the course of part or can simply be realized with button X of the lever with six buttons. Finally the various weapons available during the play also make it possible they to carry out new movements.

Characters

It is possible to choose between four combatants:

  • Axel Stone : The character more balanced play, its characteristics are average in all the fields.
  • Blaze Fielding : Nimbler and technique that Axel, it is also a little weaker.
  • Sammy (Eddie) " Skate" Hunter: Gone up on its Roller S, it is the fastest character of the group, but also the least extremely.
  • Dr. Victor Zan: Newcomer in the series, this Cyborg acts as rough group.
  • Victy (Roo)
  • Leon Shiva
  • Ash (only in the Japanese version)

Bare Knuckle III

The Japanese version of the play ( Bare Knuckle III , or BKIII) somewhat differs from the versions European and American (SoR3) exits then. Here some one of these changes:

  • the screen title is obviously different according to the versions. Moreover in Japan, the introduction of the play comprises images completely absent in SoR3.
  • In BKIII, the clothes of Axel, Blaze and Sammy is same color as in Streets off Rage 2 .
  • the difficulty of the play is appreciably increased in SoR3.
  • the names of the enemies are very often different from one version to another. Thus Galsia celebrates it is called Garcia in SoR3.
  • Certains female characters is equipped in SoR3. For example Electra carries a waistcoat instead of a long-line bra in BKIII.
  • Ash, a Boss with the paces of Village People variegated, is reported missing in SoR3.
