Streets of San Francisco

the Streets of San Francisco ( The Streets off San Francisco ) is a Televised series states-unienne in a 90 minute old pilot, 119 47 minutes episodes and a 90 minute old telefilm, created by Quinn Martin according to the characters of Carolyn Weston and diffused between the September 16th 1972 and the June 9th 1977 on ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the October 12th 1974 on Antenne 2.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the investigations of Mike Stone, veteran of the police force of San Francisco (23 years of service), and of its fellow-member, the young person and impetuous Steve Keller, which, left detective assisting the police academy, must prove reliable on the ground.

Comments

The success of the Rues of San Francisco rests on the contrasted duet of two police officers who have the love of their trade but that a priori all opposes: Mike Stone still works into impermeable and hat, “with old” while its young fellow-member, Steve Keller, always equipped in costume, are follower of the new methods. In spite of that, a friendship is tied between the two men, sometimes even the spectator can feel a relation father-wire to be established. The series privileges the action, takes along the police officers in the United States of the misfits, that less triumphing over after Guerre over Vietnam in this town of San Francisco, already surveyed by the team of Robert Dacier (alias Raymond Burr) in the iron Man ( Ironside ).

In 1992, a telefilm, which wanted to be a continuation of the series, was turned by Mel Damski. Seul Karl Malden took part, Michael Douglas, become international high-speed motorboat, did not appear in it with the screen. The principal intrigue took account of this absence since the scenario was built around the investigation consisting in solving the murder of the inspector Steve Keller
