Street Fighter (video game)
Street Fighter is a Video game of combat of Capcom left on Borne arcade in 1987.
It is about the first episode of famous the series '' Street Fighter ''.
Gameplay
The first version of the play had as an originality to propose to the players to direct the characters by means of a joystick and of two buttons Analogique S ( mechatronics ): the power of the punches or foot was proportional to the pressure exerted on these buttons, each blow which can be carried slightly, normally or strongly. The levels no-claims bonus on the other hand did not impose any limitation, the players obtained a more high score while pressing most strongly possible on the buttons. This system was quickly abandoned because of the abuses and the ill treatments that the terminals of arcade underwent, certain players not hesitating to go up on the pieces of furniture to type foot on the buttons in order to obtain a High score .
The traditional system with six buttons, each button corresponding to a punch or of foot of different force, used thereafter in the majority of the plays of Capcom combat, was consequently employed to replace the analogical keys.
Street Fighter also introduced the special blows which became one of the trademarks the series: the fireball ( Hadôken ), the Dragon Punch ( Shôryuuken ) and the Hurricane Kick ( Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku ), achievable by means of a fast movement of the joystick combined with the pressure of a key of blow.
Characters
For this first opus, the choice of the characters was not possible: Ryu was used by the first player and Ken, by the second. The principle was to face 10 characters left again in 5 countries.
