Stratum granulosum
The Stratum granulosum (also called granulous layer ) constitutes the last layer of nucleate cells of the skin. It is formed, according to the importance of keratinization, from 1 to 4 flattened cellular bases whose core starts to degenerate. The cytoplasm of the cells of the granulous layer contains grains of Kératohyaline (precursory of the Kératine) and Lipide S which allow the development of épidermique grease.
