Straton de Sardes (in Greek old Στράτων / Strátôn ) is a Greek writer of the 2nd century, author and compiler of epigram S pederastic.
Originating in the city of Sardinian, in Lydie, it would have lived under the reign of the emperor Hadrian. If its life is badly known, it is famous to have composed an anthology of epigrams entitled Μοῦσα παιδική / Moũsa paidikế , “the MUSE garçonnière”: the collection included/understood texts of Alcée de Mytilène, Callimaque de Cyrène, Méléagre de Gadara or Dioscoride, but also of Straton itself. We preserve of them 258 epigrams, integrated into the 9th century by Constantin Céphalas in book XII of the Greek Anthologie .
