Strata Florida
Strata Florida (in Welsh Ystrad Fflur ) is an old abbey Cistercien with Pontrhydfendigaid, close to Tregaron in the Ceredigion, with the Wales.
History
It is thought that it is with this abbey that the chronicles of the Brut Tywysogion were written there.
Monuments and tombs
Several princes of Deheubarth were buried there. It is also the case, according to the tradition, of the large poet Dafydd ap Gwilym. A monument was high there with its memory.
