Comment
- a third part was initially envisaged and was to speak about the Coming out of a high-school pupil football player interpreted by James van der Beek. This third part would have been removed, but Solondz affirms that it filmed forever.
-
the film caused a controversy in its American version because Solondz was constrained to censure a scene of sex so that MPAA does not classify its film in NC-17 (prohibited with less than 17 years). Instead of removing the scene, it decided to add a great red square on the screen during time that this scene lasts. To accentuate the fact that it had been censured, Solondz wanted to add on the red square the word " Censored" (censured), but the MPAA refused. With final, it obteint a classification R (authorized with less than 17 years accompanied).
