Storting
Definition
The Storting (or Stortinget) is the single room of the Norwegian Parliament. Composed of 169 members elected for a 4 years mandate, it is once divided into two assemblies the last elections: the Odelsting (3/4 of the members) and the Lagting (1/4 of the members), which meet jointly or separately according to the day order. Storting exerts the legislative power and the control of the government action by having the characteristic not to be able to be dissolves. Storting sits at Oslo.
Election
150 deputies are elected with the list system to the representation proportional within the framework of district according to the modified method of Holy-Lagüe. 19 others (1 per district) are seats of compensation distributed at the national level between the various parties policy. A minimum threshold of 4% of the voices at the national level is necessary to take part in the distribution of these seats. Lastly, the preferential vote is authorized. To note, the legislative elections in Norway always take place second Monday of September.

Det norske Arbeiderparti Workers party (DNA): 61 seats (+18), 862.679 votes (32.7%)
- Fremskrittpartiet Left progress (FrP): 38 seats (+12), 582.019 votes (22.1%)
- Høyre Conservative party (H): 23 seats (- 15), 372.047 votes (14.1)
- Sosialistisk Venstreparti Socialist party of left (SV): 15 seats (- 8), 233.053 votes (8.8%)
- Senterpartiet Left the center (Sp): 11 seats (+1), 171.038 votes (6.5%))
- Christian-popular Kristelig Folkeparti Left (KrF): 11 seats (- 11). 179.110 votes (6.8%)
- Venstre Liberal party (V): 10 seats (+8), 156.101 votes (5.9%)
Note: the coalition with the capacity is formed of DNA, the SV and Sp. It has 87 seats, that is to say 2 of more than the absolute majority
