Stock-shot

A stock-shot is a series of images (with or without its) borrowed from documents of files (film, documentary, report, etc) and inserted in a measuring.

Stock-shots are very employed in films of Série B (even Z) for reasons of cost, generally with the contempt of the laws of the Copyright.

A stock-shot can be made locate rather easily, due to the quality and the format of the image different, its, lighting, etc

Examples:

  • Plane 9 from Outer Space of ED Wood: stock-shots of the American army drawing from the missiles;
  • Robot Monster of Phil Tucker: stock-shots of the film Toumak the son of the jungle ;
  • Dünyayi Kurtaran Adam of Cetin Inanç: stock-shots of the film Star Wars ;
  • Raptor of Jim Wynorski: stock-shots of films of the series Carnosaur (3 films)
