Stjepan Bobek

Stjepan Bobek (born the December 3rd 1923 with Zagreb) is old a Football Croatian or which played for the team of Yugoslavia in the years 1940-1950.

With Yugoslavia, it obtained two money medals to the Olympic Games of 1948 and 1952 and disputed two world cups in 1950 and 1954. With 36 goals in 63 selections between 1946 and 1956 there remains the better striker of the history of the Yugoslav selection.

He played Partizan Belgrade of 1945 to 1958 registering 403 goals in 468 matches. In 1995 he was elected the largest player of Partizan of all times.

After its career of player it became trainer Partizan Belgrade but also of the Légia Warsaw, of Panathinaikos, Olympiakos and Vardar Skopje.
