The Stimulation vagale or stimulation neuro-vagale (SNV or VNS for " vagus nerve stimulation " of English) consists in establishing stimulative electric under the skin of the patient in order to excite the Vagus or pneumogastric nerve according to a flexible program since outside.

This method would cause to improve some notably depressions resistant to the medicamentous, electric or magnetic treatments.
