Stictoleptura scutellata

The scutellate lepture ( will stictoleptura scutellata ) is a species of insect of the families of the Cerambycidae.

It is a species of lepture of black color. The males, a little smaller than the females, have an escutcheon (left triangular between the élytres) with silver plated pilosity àlors which it is yellow in the females.

the taxonomists distinguish two subspecies:
  • Stictoleptura scutellata mixed (Lucas, 1846)
  • Stictoleptura scutellata scutellata (Fabricius, 1781)
