Sthénébée
In the Greek Mythology, Sthénébée is the wife of Proétos (king of Tirynthe), of which it has Mégapenthès, Lysippé, Iphinoé and Iphianassa.
Its ascent is confused: thus the Pseudo-Apollodore makes of it the girl of Iobatès or Amphianax (kings of Lycie) with the book II, but that of Aphéidas to book III.
It falls in love with Bellérophon, come at the court from Proétos to be made purify, but pushed back by this one, it shows it near her husband to have to seek to allure it. Proétos sends Bellérophon at Iobatès then, while requiring of him to make it kill.
