Steve Roach

Steve Roach , born with Mesa in California in 1955, is a Musicien and American Compositeur of Electronic music .

Its first albums, left at the beginning the Years 1980, are in the line of the productions of Tangerine Dream, with a fast tempo and sequencers. It evolves then to a music more typically Californian, based on tablecloths very ambient , but stripped of the character mièvre of the music old New of the time. Its style is characterized rather by a dark environment, and the contribution, as of the end of the year 1980, of ethnic elements. such as percussions or the Didgeridoo, which he learns how to play at the time of his voyages in Australia, well before the vogue of this instrument in Occident.
