Steve Miller

Steve Miller , is a Chanteur, Compositeur and Guitariste American, born the October 5th, 1943 with Milwaukee (the United States).

Biography

Miller was born from a father amateur of Jazz and from a mother who was singer of jazz. In 1950, its family left to Dallas (Texas) where Steve Miller formed its first group, The Marksmen . Its group included/understood one of his/her schoolmates, Boz Scaggs, which became famous later like auteur-compositeur.
In the years 1960, Miller made her studies with the Université of Wisconsin where it formed another group, The Ardells . Boz Scaggs and Ben Sidran joined the group one year after its formation. Miller had a godfather celebrates, the Paul, a pionner of the electric guitar which encouraged it to use its talents of musician.

In 1968, Miller formed the Steve Miller Band , with Miller with the song, which recorded its first album Children off the Future , with the style Psychédélique like that of the groups of San Francisco of this time. Its following albums had a good success but not Hit.

The year 1973 marked a turning in the career of Steve Miller with the album The Joker which was a popular success in the United States, then Fly Like year Eagle and Book off Dreams which was also business successes. Several titles left into simple and became hits: " Rock' N Me, " " Take the Money and Run, " " Jet Airliner, " and " Love." jungle;

After a crossing of the desert, success returned in 1982 with Abracadabra . It gave then up the recording of albums and collaborated with Paul McCartney in 1997 on " Flaming Pie" who gained a Grammy Award.
