Steve McKenna

Steve McKenna (born the August 21st 1973 with Toronto in Ontario with the Canada) is a former professional player of Hockey. McKenna evolved/moved as a defender in North America.

Career in club

McKenna started to play hockey in 1993-94 in the university championship with the team of Merrimack College before making its beginnings as a professional with the Roadrunners de Phoenix in the international Ligue of hockey in 1996. Same the year, it takes its first steps in the National league of hockey while playing for the Kings of Los Angeles (it plays during nine matches).

McKenna will remain four seasons with Kings before being selected by the Wild of Minnesota during the fishing out of expansion of 2000 of the LNH. It is selected as a 37e choice and after a score of match under the colors of Wild, it joined the Penguins de Pittsburgh in return of Roman Simicek.
