Steve Kuhn

Steve Kuhn (born the March 24th 1938 with Brooklyn) is a pianist of Jazz.

Steve Kuhn started to study the Piano as of the five years age. He was the pupil of Margaret Chaloff and at thirteen years pianist orchestra of his son Serge Chaloff became the . After its exit of the Harvard College , he attended the Lenox School off Music , where he played with Ornette Coleman and Don Cherry and, of 1959 with 1960, with Kenny Dorham.

He played in the four-bit byte of John Coltrane in 1961 before being replaced by McCoy Tyner. Of 1964 with 1966, it played with Art Farmer and then created its own group with Pete LaRoca and Scott LaFaro, then Steve Swallow. In the middle of the Années 1980 it founds the All Star Trio with Ron Carter and Al Foster. The trio invited the bass players David Finck, Buster Williams, Eddie Gomez, Gary Peacock, George Mraz, Miroslav Vitous, Harvie Swartz, Palle Danielsson and the beaters Joey Baron, Lewis Nash, Billy Drummond, Kenny Washington, Aldo Romano, Jon Christensen and Bill Stewart.
