Sternutatory Achillée

achillée sternutatory the ( Achillea ptarmica L.) or “achillée of the marshes” is a hardy perennial belonging to the family of the Astéracées (or Made up) and to the kind Achillea , whose most widespread representative is the Achillée cream slice ( Achillea millefolium ). It is also called button of money or grass to sneeze , or achillée ptarmic .

Difficult to say if this plant really makes sneeze as its name indicates it, the divergent opinion on this point: undoubtedly it causes Allergie S at some, whereas others are completely insensitive there. It is a rather common plant in all Western Europe, except for the Mediterranean regions.

Description

Rather large hardy perennial, with set up stem, crawling woody stock. The Sheet S, alternate and sessile, narrow and are lancéolées, on toothed board. The inflorescence is a Corymbe small white flowerheads. The ligulas with three teeth are female flowers, while the florets of the disc, of beige color to greenish, are hermaphrodites. The Fruit S are Akène S. Floraison in summer. Wet places, on acid or neutral ground.
