Stephan Piobetta
Stephan Piobetta is a French philosopher, qualified schoolteacher of Philosophie, political SFIO and resistant militant, born the July 22nd 1913 with the Roche-sur-Yon (the Vendée), dead in May 1944 with San Appolinare (Italy).
Biography
Born with the Roche-sur-Yon, where his/her father was Inspecteur of Academy, Stephan Piobetta makes her secondary studies in this city, then with the Clemenceau college of Nantes and with the Lycée Henri-Iv. It is received with the National university in 1934, and passes the aggregation of philosophy in 1938.Its military service the conduit like Second lieutenant with the 51e regiment of infantry of Beauvais. In June 1940, it takes part in the engagements within the 29 {{E}} Division of infantry. Demobilized the 1940, it is named professor with the Lycée Voltaire with Paris. It engages very quickly in the Résistance.
In July 1943, it leaves France to go to join the free French Forces in North Africa. Meeting the General de Gaulle, this one requests it to enter to the French Comité of the national Release. Stephan Piobetta prefers the combat: promoted lieutenant, it takes the command of the 3rd company of the 22e North-African Bataillon of walk (22e BMNA). It takes share with the countryside of Italy within the the 1st French Division free. It is killed in the combat of the Garigliano in May 1944. Its remainders rest in the crypt of the Sorbonne to Paris.
It was made Compagnon of the Release on a purely posthumous basis by decree of the November 20th 1944.
