Stephan Lhomme

Stephan Lhomme , born with Bordeaux the November 4th 1965, is the president of Tchernoblaye association, one of the spokesperson paid of the network Sortir the nuclear power and a Militant of association Droit to housing. Holder of a DEA in Sociology, it occupied the function of teacher between 1991 and 2002.

Militancy and activism

Bordeaux

Stephan Lhomme militates in Bordeaux since 2000, mainly against her mayor Alain Juppe.
En 2000 and 2001, it militates with association Droit to housing to accelerate the rehousing of sedentarized Gipsy S, among which its clean raises S, living in residences of the Ville of Bordeaux declared unhealthy.
De 2002 with 2004, he is spokesperson of the Collective for the abrogation of the Local by-law “anti-bivouac” taken by the mayor of Bordeaux, Alain Juppe. After several Demonstration S, it deposits a recourse for abuse of power in front of the Administrative court. February 7th, 2003, the Administrative court cancels the decree, judgment confirmed by the Administrative court of call on April 27th, 2004.
Le September 23rd, 2002, it takes part in the organization of a manifestation of the Collective “Against the integrist ones with St-Eloi”. Indeed, at the beginning of 2002, the Alain Juppe mayor illegally allotted the church Saint-Eloi to a traditionalist group. This attribution was cancelled on December 20th, 2002 by the Administrative court of Bordeaux, then on April 27th, 2004 by the Course administrative of call, and finally definitively on March 2nd, 2005 by the Council of State. But the traditionalists were never expelled, which Stephan Lhomme commented on thus (in its book Alain Juppe jumps on Bordeaux ): " Juppe is much more patient with the integrist ones than it was it with Without-papers " , in reference to the evacuation of the church Saint-Bernard with Paris in 1996.
Le February 12th, 2003, it takes part in the animation of a demonstration (1000 people) against the arrival in Bordeaux of Vladimir Poutine, which was invited by the Alain Juppe mayor.
Stéphane Lhomme gathered its objections against Alain Juppe in a book, Alain Juppe jumps on Bordeaux (the return) published in September 2006. October 7th, 2006, takes care of the anticipated municipal election, Stephan Lhomme was stopped by the police force for “street hawking” in front of the Librairie Mollat. Stephan Lhomme explains her act by affirming that the director Denis Mollat, who is a close relation of Alain Juppe, made withdraw his book of the sale in his bookstore. Stephan Lhomme will appear on October 1st, 2007 before the Magistrates' court of Bordeaux.

Antinuclear militancy

Within the framework of Tchernoblaye

Tchernoblaye associations is created on December 15th, 1999 by citizens of Bordeaux, initially in the form of an association " of fait". Statutes are published in the official journal of March 11th, 2000, and Tchernoblaye association is chaired by Stephan Lhomme. April 10th, 2000, association and its president are assigned in referred with the Court of Bankruptcy of Bordeaux by the town of Blaye which intends to make prohibit the name “Tchernoblaye”, estimating that this name harms its image. April 14th, 2000, the court rejects the summary procedure required by the town of Blaye.
Le September 29th, 2003, of the militants of Tchernoblaye association blocks a train transporting of the radioactive waste in station of Bordeaux Midsummer's Day. Stephan Lhomme is challenged, then released with a simple warning.
Le October 27th, 2003, as a President of association Tchernoblaye, Stephan Lhomme deposits a complaint against the leaders of EDF to have made function in the absence of authorizations of rejections the nuclear plant of Blayais from March 31st, 2003 to September 26th, 2003. Since, association protests regularly in front of the Court of Bordeaux, showing the Parquet floor to want to bury the business.
Le October 27th, 2006, to protest against " the inertia of the Parquet floor of Bordeaux" who, 3 years after the lodge of a complaint, did not fix a lawsuit, Stephan Lhomme, accompanied by another militant of Tchernoblaye association, penetrates in the interior court of the Law courts of Bordeaux and remains during 5 hours on a scaffolding. Challenged and placed as a police custody, it is continued under the charge “to have resisted with violence” an police officer and “to have made violences not having involved disability” on the Substitut of the Prosecutor who was assembled to his meeting. He refused to subject himself to the psychiatric evaluation requested by the Parquet of Bordeaux, denouncing an attempt at " psychiatriser opponents, like formerly in URSS". March 21st, 2007, Stephan Lhomme is condemned to 1000 euros of fine with deferment and fact call… just as the Parquet floor of Bordeaux. A new lawsuit took place on June 13rd, 2007 at the Court of Appeal of Bordeaux. The prosecuting attorney asked for " a custodial sentence with sursis" against Stephan Lhomme. The verdict will be returned on September 19th, 2007

Within the framework of the Network " To leave the nucléaire"

As a spokesperson of the Network To leave the nuclear power, it regularly presents the arguments of association according to the topicality.
Le August 24th, 2002, at the time of the Summit of the Earth of Johannesburg, Stephan Lhomme occupies the stand EDF, left vacant during the weekend, and covers it stickers. Stopped by the South-African police force, it is slackened in the evening .

Arrest by DST

May 16th, 2006, Stephan Lhomme is challenged by the DST and is placed in police custody. Its residence is searched in the search of a document EDF in its possession, classified as “confidential defense”. The document in question relates to the safety of the nuclear reactor EPR, in project at the time of the facts. The following day, several antinuclear associations protest against this arrest and then diffuse the document in its entirety on Internet. Stephan Lhomme could be the subject of a Mise in examination by the Parquet of Paris and the DST for “compromising of the secrecy of national defense”, punishable offense of five years of imprisonment and 75 000 euros of fine.
