Stephan Hessel
Stephan Frederic Hessel born with Berlin the October 20th 1917 is a diplomat, ambassador and old resistant French.
He is the son of Helen Gründ and the German writer Franz Hessel which inspired the character of Jules in the novel Jules and Jim of Henri-Pierre Roché.
Resisting at the time of the Second world war, Hessel joined the Général de Gaulle in 1941, off-set with Buchenwald and with Dora, Concentration camp dependant on Buchenwald. Hessel escapes hanging with Dora and escapes during a transfer towards Bergen-Belsen
