Stephan Garelli
Stephan Garelli is Professor with the IMD, and extraordinary Professor with the Université of Lausanne (HEC). He is regarded as one of the world experts in the field of the economic Compétitivité international. Its research relates to the competitiveness of the nations and the companies on the international markets.
He is Directeur of the World Competitiveness Yearbook, a study respected in the field of the competitiveness of the nations, published by IMD. This annual report compares the competitiveness of forty six nations by using 250 criteria.
He is also Chairman of the board of one of the principal newspapers in French language of Switzerland, Time.
He is member many institutes:
- the Clouded Enterprise Management Association,
- the council of the Fondation Jean Monet for Europe,
- the Swiss Académie of Technical Sciences,
- the Royal Society for the encouragement off Arts, Manufactures and Commerce ,
- the Mexican Council of the productivity and competitiveness (Comeproc).
In 2007, he was the president of the support group of Jacqueline de Quattro with the Council of State of the Canton of Vaud
