Stephan Denève
Stephan Denève is a Leader French, born with Tourcoing in 1971.
Biography
He studies with the Academy of Paris. He is the assistant of Georg Solti for the resumption of the operas the Castle of Bore-Blue of Béla Bartók with the Orchestre of Paris in 1995, then Don Giovanni of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the Opéra of Paris in 1996. He assists Georges Prêtre for the Turandot of Giacomo Puccini with the Opera of Paris in 1997, then Seiji Ozawa for the Dialogs of the Carmelite nuns of Francis Poulenc with the Festival Saito Kinen in 1998.Denève makes its beginnings with the the United States by taking again this opera at the time of the festival of Santa Fe (New Mexico) in 1999. As an invited chief, it also directed the orchestras of Saint Louis, Cincinnati, Seattle and Washington, cd..
In 2004, Denève was named at the prestigious post of musical director of the royal National orchestra of Scotland.
