Steorn Ltd. is a private small firm based with Dublin, in Ireland.

The company briefly drew the attention of the media in August 2006. It placed publicities of a page in The Economist , informant to have developed a technology which produces an energy " free, clean and permanente" (" free, clean, and constant energy") and proposing at the scientific community to criticize this advertisement.
