Stenness Stones Standing
The raised stones of Stenness (Stenness Stones Standing) are located in the south-western part of Mainland, island principal of the the Orkneys, close to Maes Howe. Of this circle of 12 stones drawn up there towards 3000 av. J-C, there only remains about it four, largest culminating to 6 Mr.
