Steamboy

Steamboy ( スチームボーイ , suchīmubōi ) is a cartoon film Japan board, carried out by Katsuhiro Ōtomo, left the September 22nd 2004.

Synopsis

In a uchronic England, at the 19th century, Ray Steam is the son of Edward and grandson of Lloyd, two inventive scientists of steam engines. They have not been reappeared for several months after their departure for the America, when a parcel containing a metal ball (the steamball ) arrives at the residence of Ray and its mother. But, two men of the Foundation O' Hara who finance research of the two governors, want to seize some. Ray flees and is helped by the scientist Robinson, enthusiast patriotic.

During this time, London prepares to inaugurate the World Fair where the steam engines will be with the honor. The Foundation O' Hara prepared a house and sends the girl of founder to it, the Scarlett young person. She is accompanied by Simon, charged with selling the technology of the foundation.

Steamboy is the Japanese cartoon film expensive of the history with a budget of 2.4 billion yen (approximately 20 million dollars), although this amount is quite lower than the Western standards for this kind of films.
