Stateless person
According to the convention of New York of the September 28th 1954, the term stateless person applies to any person whom no State regards as its national by application of his legislation .
More simply, stateless person thus nominates a person deprived of Patrie of legal nationality.
The German term “ Heimatlos ” of which it is the synonym is approved in French.
The film the Terminal of Steven Spielberg (2004) puts in scene a stateless person: Viktor Navorski. This film is inspired by Mehran Karimi Nasseri which lived in the hall of the Aéroport Roissy-Charles-of-Gaulle of 1988 with August 2006.
