State socialism

The state socialism , is political doctrines, defended and practiced inter alia by people asserting Léninisme, which aims at a company Communiste while passing by the establishment of a company Socialiste , under the aegis of the State, which will progressively undergo a progressive deterioration projection towards Communism. Assert state socialism, inter alia the Stalinist trotskystes, and the Maoists. It is sometimes called by error Communism , but the anarchist-Communists, the luxembourgists, conseillists, Bordiguiste S, Situationniste S, as well as Socialists, regard this assimilation as unsuitable: they speak about Capitalisme of State.

The attribute “of State” is usually added to avoid confusion around the term “Socialisme”, which tends to indicate the parties and movements Marxiste S or social-democrat.

History

Its " application" (or what was claimed such) as of 1917 in Russia (become the USSR in 1922), and until our days by many governments instituting of the dictatorships by the use of armed forces and policies of propaganda, led to military repressions, the massive deportation of populations, the camps of work (Gulag S), organized famines.

  • several left-wing political parties defend various forms of property of state, within a social democracy. These " Socialists modérés" (called also social democrat or social-liberals) defend in fact the Capitalisme, thus they agree to manage a capitalist state and aims at a capitalist economic system having social objectives . This current is currently with the capacity in Germany, England, Spain

  • the Socialists reformists plead for a transition peaceful and gradual from the Capitalisme towards the Socialisme developed. They wish to abolish capitalism, but by the evolution rather than by the Révolution, with a transitional stage under direction of the State. This current is quasi-non-existent today.

  • the Marxisme supports that a revolution socialist and/or communist is the only practical manner to put an end to the capitalist system. Moreover, certain people asserting Marxism support that after a certain period under socialism, the State should decay, producing a communist company. (This thesis is particularly that which developed and supported Stalin. Marx not having, as of the Manifeste of the Communist party, spoken that movement communist and criticized all the socialist theses).

The State, in fact, did not decay in the states known as socialist of the XXe century, it was even reinforced in an authoritative form. The Marxist-Leninists defend them and affirm that the transitional period is simply not finished. Other Marxists, the trotskystes, denounce these “socialist” States like Stalinist, alleging that their control was corrupted and that it had given up the Marxism in all except the name. Other Marxist schools (Luxembourgisme, Conseillisme, Bordiguisme…) call capitalist States , on the basis of an economic and social analysis of these countries, and estimating that these countries did not have anything Socialists.

The Anarchiste S join this qualifier, and go sometimes further, denouncing the Marxism even like implying a state socialism. They employ the term in fundamental opposition with their own design of the socialism, which implies the collective ownership of the means of production, without intervention of the state, by federalism (on the other hand that is not for example not the case of a theorist Anarchiste like Daniel Guerin).
