Starman VII

Starman is a Super-héros of the universe cd. Comics. Descendant of a line of the hero appeared for the first time in 1941. Wire of first Starman, it unwillingly took again the torch after the murder of his brother David (Starman #0), preceding carrier of the costume.

History

Jack Knight has a passion: old objects. It made its livelihood of it, reselling them in its shop. Little touched by the " mission" from his/her father and his brother as Starman, Jack will be obliged to take the continuation of his/her father whereas one of its former enemies decided to kill all its family. It succeeds in killing David and wounds Ted, the father of Jack and David. It takes again the role of Starman, the guard of Opal City but decides to change the rules: his/her father will have to spend more time working on inventions being able to help the world than on gadgets of superman. Jack him will intervene only when the police force needs him.

Later, Jack will be integrated in the middle of the supermen. He will be member of the Justice Society off America scenarized by James Robinson then by Geoff Johns. Jack will disappear from the pages of the team and universe cd. in general once its finished series. Stargirl will inherit its stick. Since, the return of Knight Jack is often announced by the editor, but nothing concrete was seen for the moment.

Jack Knight was seen in Identity Crisis #1 with the burial of Sue Dibny. it is revealed in the episode 23 of the series Manhunter which it would live with San Francisco, probably spending its time painting, alive with Sadie, his/her partner, and raising their son.

Capacities

Jack is an expert into art-martial, Jack counts especially on its cosmic stick which absorbs stellar energy in order to make it steal, handle energy, create fields of force or make léviter objects. After some time, one also learned that the stick could be ordered remotely, just by the thoughts from Jack.
