Stanley Chapman

Born in 1925, Stanley Chapman is architect, draftsman, translator and writer English. Impassioned Theater and of “Pataphysique, it takes part in the design of the National Theater of London, is elected member of the Oulipo ( Or to vroir of Li tentielle ttérature Po ) since 1960, and founds, in 1991, new a Or-X-Po: the Outrapo ( Or to vroir of Tra gicomédie Po tentielle). Its translation of the A hundred and thousand billion poems of Raymond Queneau, was worth “the amazement and the admiration” of the author to him. He is also Régent of Épidictique to the Collège of' Pataphysique, member of the Ouarchpo (Architecture), of the L.I.P. (London Institut off Pataphysics) and of Lewis Carroll Society.
