Stanislaw Chouchkievitch
Stanislaw Chouchkievitch (Russian : Станисла́вСтанисла́вовичШушке́вич; in Belorusse : Станісла́ўСтанісла́вавічШушке́віч) is a Belorusse politician born the December 15th 1934 with Minsk.
Political course
He was president of the Belorusse republic after his election (election by the indirect suffrage) the August 25th 1991 (entered in function the September 18th), until his dismissal the January 26th 1994 following a report/ratio of Alexandre Loukachenko condemning corruption to the report heading. He to him was also reproached his will of bringing together with the Occident and not with Russia. He presents himself nevertheless to the presidential election. He obtains 10% of the votes, far behind Loukachenko (45%). In 2004, it tries to take part in the legislative elections, but the electoral commission prevents some.As a Belorusse ex-chief of State, it touches a monthly pension of 1,8 dollar.
Scientific course
Before its accession with the capacity, he was also a scientist, member of the Belorusse Academy of sciences, doctor in mathematics and physics. From 1969 to 1986, he is professor then chief of the department of nuclear physics of the University of State of Bielorussia. From 1986 to 1990, he is vice-chancellor of the University of State Bielorussia.He organizes today many conferences in various countries of the world, of which France.
