Stanislas Wawrinka
Stanislas Wawrinka is a player of professional Tennis Suisse, born on March 28th, 1985 with Lausanne of a Swiss mother and a German father. It is currently one of the two Swiss players among 100 the better world ones (with Roger Federer).
Its brilliant career as a junior was crowned by a title with International of France of Roland-Garros juniors in 2003 and by a place of 14th world junior.

In Adélaïde, it was beaten by Greg Rusedski, in Barcelona by Felix Mantilla, in Gstaad by Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo, in Umag by Flavio Saretta, in Bucharest by David Ferrer and in Basle by Tommy Robredo. But it was essential in the Challengers of Barcelona and Geneva and will be finalist with Saint-Pétersbourg, beaten by Jean-Rene Lisnard.
2005: The revelation
It is truly into 2005 that Stanislas bursts with the more high level. He is first of all finalist of the Challenger of Andrézieux. Then, it will pass a turn to tournament ATP of Rotterdam, classified International Series Gold. It will beat Sebastien Grosjean, then 27e with the ATP and will be inclined vis-a-vis Roger Federer.He will arrive then in quarterfinals of the tournament of Barcelona, also classified International Series Gold. He will be beaten by Radek Štěpánek in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).

Á Wimbledon, it is beaten with the first turn by Fabrice Santoro in four sets.
Then, the week following the London fortnight, Stanislas arrives for the first time of his career finally of a tournament ATP. In Gstaad, it is indeed beaten at the last stage of the competition by Gastón Gaudio 6-4, 6-4.
At the time of the last Large-Slam of the year, the US Open one, Wawrinka passes 2 turns, taking its revenge on Puerta with the second round. But with the third turn, it is Nicolas Massu which takes its revenge and beats it in 3 sets.
In September, it disputes the Coupe Davis with the team of Suisse. The latter is indeed confronted in stoppings with the Great Britain. It beats in three sets Andy Murray 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4, and in two sets Alan Mackin.

2006: first title ATP
At the whole beginning of the year, Stanislas arrives in semi-final of the tournament of Auckland, beaten by the Croatian Mario Ančić. He passes also a turn to Open of Australia.He gains his two matches of Coupe Davis against the Australia NS Chris Guccione and Peter Luczak. In spite of its two victories, the Swiss , was inclined 3-2.
It passes then 1 turn to Masters Series of Indian Wells and Miami. It arrives in semi-final of the tournament of Barcelona.
Then, it does not republish its performance of 2005 and is inclined with the first turn in Roland Garros.
But it carries out an enormous performance with Wimbledon where it reaches the 3rd turn. It until had not gained any match yet there over grass!
Stan takes part then in the Open of Gstaad, where it had reached the final in 2005. But it is inclined as of the 1st tower vis-a-vis Andreï Pavel.

2007
Stan begins the season 2007 with two defeats in Doha and Auckland.But, far from demoralizing itself, it passes 2 turns to the Open of Australia, leaf Kevin Kim and Paul Capdeville, and losing against the Spanish Rafael Nadal.
Then, at the time of a drive the match day before of Coupe Davis against the Spain, Stan tears the side ligament interns right knee and declares fixed price for the Coupe Davis.
